Our Team

Natasha Goulden, Principal

Natasha left her farm for the little smoke of Perth some years ago where she attended high school, following which she won a Rotary Exchange Scholarship to live and study in Ontario, Canada for a year.  It was there that she realised that she didn’t have the patience to be a teacher as she previously desired so she settled for being a lawyer thinking that she could put her argumentative head-strong skills to good use and without complaint.

Natasha obtained her law degree from University of Western Australia and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Sydney.

Natasha worked for some small legal firms and an engineering company in Perth after she completed her law degree in 1991.

After Sydney was awarded the Olympics, Natasha moved from Perth to Sydney in 1995 without a job but a tier 1 national law firm immediately came to her rescue by offering her a job for which Natasha will be eternally grateful. It was at there that Natasha worked like a dog with some quality lawyers and built up an impressive CV.

In 2010, Natasha established Goulden Legal.

Natasha was made a Justice of Peace in 2012.  In 2016, Natasha was nominated as Real Estate Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Award and Natasha has been recognised by her peers in Best Lawyers in Australia (Real Estate) in 2021 and in 2024.

Natasha is married to a Kings Counsel; she has a beautiful dog who loves her very much; she has two daughters who sometimes love her; and she has three cats who remind her regularly that the world does not revolve around Goulden Legal.

Natasha speaks conversational French and German but maybe don’t test her on either without due warning!

Moira Gillespie, Lawyer

Moira started her working life in the glamourous world of marketing.  After a while, however, the slogans and press kits lost their lustre and so Moira went in search of a new challenge.

With her exceptional people skills (some have referred to it as her “gift for the gab”) and her commercial training, a career in law was the obvious choice.

Moira was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW 2021 and joined Goulden Legal’s team shortly thereafter.

Wendye Vince, Consultant

Wendye is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia with extensive experience in real estate law [including leasing], conveyancing, wills, succession planning, property related litigation, liquor licensing, telecommunications, complex incentive and finance facility agreements and mediation.

Anita Bradley, Consultant

Anita is a licensed conveyancer and leasing paralegal and she undertakes all aspects of residential conveyancing and leasing.

Tracey Friday, Office Manager

After leaving college, Tracey Friday worked for a local council in the UK and, following this, she pursued a career in the newspaper industry.

Tracey immigrated to Australia from the UK in 2006 [because, she says, why not?] and she then worked for Transport NSW [not issuing fines we promise] for 12 years, then she took a year off to complete her historical fiction books called ‘Thursday’s Child’, published in 2019 and ‘From Orchards to Outback, published in 2020.

To supplement the royalties from her sales, Tracey joined Goulden Legal in the role of Office Assistant in 2019 and is now our Office Manager.

Tracey enjoys her work and she also likes reading, writing, socialising with friends and has been known to thoroughly enjoy a high tea!

Kristen Hogan, Office Assistant

Kristen is our general office assistant and our beam of positive energy.

At TAFE, Kristen has studied and achieved various certificates in courses ranging from computer applications to business administration to child studies and she has previously worked for a real estate agency, a fertilizer development company and various legal practices.

Kristen enjoys going to the movies, beaches, concerts, sporting events, 10 pin bowling, catching up with friends, going on day trips to the Southern Highlands, eating out… basically she enjoys getting out of her house and having fun!

Sherry Shao, Bookkeeper

The lawyers are the wordsmiths but Sherry is our numbers-smith and the lawyers think that she can have the numbers all to herself.

Sherry studied at University of Technology, Sydney and she is an experienced bookkeeper having worked in various industries including media, construction, retail, property and legal.  Sherry is a member of CPA, Australia and a registered BAS Agent.

Outside of work and numbers, Sherry enjoys yoga, reading, tennis, swimming, diving and meditation and she does some volunteer work.
